Full music album for Ary's next film Parey Hut Love was just released recently with impressive line up of artists increasing the hype for the film. Composed by Azaan Sami Khan, lets see if the album lives up to its hype or not.
Ik pal
A shaadi number seems to be a staple in Pakistani movies and things are getting repetitive for better or for worse. The quality that this song possesses that it is a classic melody with the evergreen voice of Hadiqa Kiani but still feels new and fresh. It is typical song but it will make you want to shake the leg on the dance floor due to its peppy and traditional nature. It was good to hear Hadiqa Kiani again and she did a complete justice to the song. This will be a huge hit in the shaadi season.
Haye dil
Sung in the beautiful voice of Jimmy Khan. Composition of this song is beautiful and clean but the song felt a bit situational for me. Maybe a good music video in the film itself can elevate the song to whole another level but by itself The song is a bit average.
Behka Na
This is a personnel favourite. From the very start the song will melt your heart with its piano and the amazing voice of its singers. Sung by Ali Tariq and Harshdeep kaur who have done complete justice to the beautiful melody. Composed exceptionally by Azaan sami khan. The flute in this song will leave you stunned and will play with the strings of your heart. This song will definitely make you miss you loved one.
Balma Bahgora
Aima baig's voice can make any song its own, it just has that quality to it. But this song fell short for me. Its not a bad song it can grow on you as i like it much more now than the first listen. This can be a promotional number due to its upbeat melody also not a fan of the rap by Ahmed Ali Butt.
Morey Saiyan
Sung in the soulful voice of Zeb Bangash, this song is classic. Having that old time feel to it one could call it a kathak number. It is a definite treat to the ears. Judging by the promotional footage the song is filmed on Mahira khan so it will be a treat to watch her breath life into this amazing composition.
Zehal-e-Miskeen
Originally by Nusrat Fateh Ali khan. This qawali infused composition is beautiful and mesmerising. Sung by the living legend Rahat Fateh Ali khan, people with classic qawali taste this is a must-listen.
- 4 out of 6 songs are written by the director Asim Raza himself so major Kudos to him for that.
Overall the album has more hits than misses. It is an absolute treat to ears and will be amazing to watch onscreen. Parey Hut Love releases this Eid ul Azha.
