Jannan vs Actor in Law Trailer Comparison

So recently trailer was released for most hyped pakistani movies of 2016

First one is jannan which is all youth kinda movie written by our very own wali aka Osman Khalid 

butt Produced by none other than Reham khan and Hareem farooq starring Armeena rana khan , Bilal 

ashraf and Ali rehman and its directed by Azfar jafri . The trailer of the film released recently its 

good but is it as good as Actor in Law we ll see

Second one is Actor in Law which is coming with huge expectations from the makers of blockbuster 

called Na maloom afrad written by Fizza ali Meerza and directed by Nabeel qureshi starring Fahad 

mustafa and Mehvish Hayat and indian veteran actor Om puri .Fahad mustafa's first release of the 

year was not impressive at the boxoffice will this be good with good names attached to it??

THE MUSIC

The first thing to attract audience to a movie is the music . And pakistani films have been struggling with the music front lately . Honestly there was not even a one song in actor in law trailer and the background score was quite similar to na maloom afraad . But in jannan there were at least two songs not much impressive but they were there Background score was ok but i really liked 

the jannan title song played at the end so i am going to give this round to Jannan . Also Armaan malik and Shreya goshal from India are performing jannan title song so it must be good.

THE HUMOUR

OKB is a good writer but he still has to improve as a writer . Jannan humour is quite lame actually with everyday jokes and puns which you can relate to but were not delivered correctly by the actors on the other hand the humour in Actor in Law is quite bold and on point . As both movies have comedy in their genre so humour should be the selling point and qudos to Mehwish Hayat for delivering that Danda dialogue with perfection. So this round goes to Actor in law

THE STORY

Jannan story i mean come on guys aren't we sick of watching brothers falling in love with the same girl and than stupid twists, girl chooses the right one at the end and happily ever after . But Actor in law has something different to offer a lawyer who wants to become an Actor with Mehwish hayat as non Muslim maybe And some court case i am not clear about the story but still its interesting and this round also goes to Actor in law

Production Values

Production values of both the films are pretty high considering the bog names involve in them . We cannot say for sure what the budget for the movies are so we have to wait to watch the movies to decide which movie utilised its money better.

ACTING

I think we should let this round be on audience to decide because we cannot say for sure about the acting unless we watch the full movie i mean actors in both the movies have good acting background so we just have to wait.

I think overall both movies have pros and cons . Both are releasing on Eid ul azha and we should watch both of them to support our cinema but i think Actor in Law ll be more powerful at the box office than the other.

We didn't include Dobara phir se trailer which also released with these two but that movie belonged to a completely different genre and is not releasing on Eid apparently.
